Ira Handy
President
Ira Handy is the President and founder of I.R.A. Construction LLC since 2007. As a disabled veteran, with more than 33 years of varied experience in business and military leadership he has the proven ability to guide, coordinate, and execute under an array of challenging environments.
His construction experience consists of churches, residential redevelopment, office buildings, restaurants, and renovations and expansions.
A collaborator with diverse professional capabilities, he provides leadership, vision, and direction for multiple ways for growth within the company. Ira’s responsibilities include helping the company increase operating performance, developing short and long-term strategic plans, identifying innovative industry partnerships, and promoting a team-oriented leadership culture.
Byron Epps
Vice President of Operation
Byron Epps is the Vice President of Operations for I.R.A. Construction LLC. With over 30 years in the construction and real estate industry he understands the importance of providing strategic leadership and vision to the company.
His extensive knowledge in project management and business development helps to deliver consistent results, reduce costs, increase efficiencies in the process, and improves customer service and satisfaction.
Byron is responsible for managing the implementation of strategic development for the company while, studying markets for new business opportunities and gaining competitive advantage to allow smaller companies to compete in a more diverse marketplace.
Byron holds a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina, two years of business from Anderson University, and a diploma in Construction Engineering from Greenville Technical College.
Ira Handy Jr
Project Manager
Ira Handy Jr is the Project Manager for I.R.A Construction LLC. With 10 years of management experience in the residential construction industry. His knowledge and experience bring a wide range of skills and expertise to the construction team.
As the Project Manager he is responsible for supervising the construction team as well as field operation for projects. Ensuring our customers' vision becomes a reality on time and within budget. While providing a keen eye for quality assurance he keeps the project sites running smoothly and efficiently.
